Emma continues to amaze us with her balling abilities. The accuracy and power of her throwing arm has always been good, but it gets better each day, and she's letting fewer and fewer balls hit the ground when she's catching. The past couple days she's taken up dribbling her backyardigans ball around the kitchen, and she's usually good for three or four bounces before she loses control. Her newest trick is palming her orange ball as she walks around the house, as the picture shows. It wasn't a trick we taught her either, just something she must have seen on the highlight reel one night. When we're playing together, she usually requests that I spin the ball on my finger, which is my only basketball skill, and then she tries to duplicate the maneuver. She hasn't come close yet, but that's alright, I'd like her to be at least two before she's better than me at everything.

There is nothing more thrilling than having a hoopster in the family. That means only one thing: more bassaball.
Congratulations.
